Both sites contain large quantities of hazardous plant and materials and in the interests of maintaining a safe workplace, the company asks that visitors carefully read the Safety and Dress Code Regulations that are in place.
First time visitors will receive a short safety induction from their host tailored to the area of the site they are visiting. Please feel free to ask questions during this induction.
Wetherill Park

Upon arrival at reception, all visitors must sign the Visitor’s Book and collect a Visitor’s Pass which must be worn at all times. Upon departure, please return to reception and make certain you sign out.
Safety and Dress Code Regulations
Visitors will be issued with eye protection, safety helmet and safety shoes. Normal closed-in footwear may be worn but only people wearing safety shoes will be permitted to leave the roadways.
Visitors may only enter plant areas if accompanied by an authorised Albright & Wilson employee.
The dress code is trousers or slacks and long-sleeves. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Because the NSF plant is a designated Flammable Area, only equipment that is intrinsically safe may be taken into this area. This means all mobile phones and digital cameras must be left in the office.

The management of the health, safety and welfare of visitors to the Yarraville site is controlled by a Safe Work Procedure. Strict security regulations are in operation and access to the site is by appointment only. In the case of unannounced visitors, Security will hold any such persons at the gatehouse until their nominated Company contact is located and authorises their entry. To avoid this unnecessary delay, visitors should ensure that they notify their Company contact at least 24-hours in advance of their impending visit.
Please observe the speed limits whilst driving within the site.
At reception, you must sign the Vistor’s Book and collect a Visitor Pass which includes a safety and emergency guide inside it. Please make certain that on your departure from the site, you sign out.
Safety and Dress Code Regulations
Visitors on plant tours will be issued with eye protection and a safety helmet. These must be worn at all times when outside the Administration Building (except for access ways between the offices).
Visitors proceeding to either the canteen or training room are required to wear eye protection and are not permitted to walk outside the designated pathway.
Visitors may only enter plant areas if accompanied by an authorised Albright & Wilson employee.
The dress code for all visitors proceeding outside the office accommodation areas is flat, closed-in footwear, trousers or slacks and long-sleeves. There are no exceptions to this rule. Female visitors please note that high-heeled boots are not acceptable footwear.
