Albright & Wilson is utilising the relationship with its parent company UIC to market oleochemicals (fatty alcohols, fatty esters, glycerine, white oil and vaseline) for the personal care industry, as well as a wide range of industrial applications.
In addition to this, over the last 5 years Albright & Wilson has broadened its product range in a wide range of industries by developing relationships with overseas suppliers who have novel technologies.
Examples include :
- a wide range of hydrotropes and amphoteric surfactants as well as a growing range of new green surfactants (under the Suga brand) from Colonial Chemicals.
- Milliken Chemicals non-staining liquid colourant technology.
- One of our most exciting new relationships is with Vedeqsa and their product Mirenat (Lauric Arginate) which will find a place in a wide range of food applications. It features a broad spectrum antimicrobial, extremely low human toxicity, naturally derived and biodegradable.
